Do they make a conducting gel or compound to put in my loose outdoor lighting sockets?
I have Malibu outdoor lighting with pinch type pieces of metal that hold on to the little bulbs. I've tried pinching the 2 pieces closer, but this works for about a day before it loosens and the light goes out. Is there any type of product that conducts electricity I can put in this socket to make the connection more stable?

- check auto parts store for lithium bulb grease.
- Yes go to your local electrician and ask for nolox. This is used to stop corrosion caused by the outside elements and the corosive effects of copper on aluminum. This will help a little with the warping effects of heat. If that doesnt work get a refund.
- you're not going to have any luck in this application with any kind of conductive grease. There's too much current. I assume this is low voltage wiring like 12 volts. There's several amps trying to flow through the contacts so any gaps between the bulb's contacts and the socket or any kind of corrosion will block the current flow. Make sure all contacts are clean and tight. Try putting the bulb in and out of the socket 10-20 times to burnish the contact surfaces of bulb and socket. Lastly make sure there's not some other bad connection nearby that makes it seem like it's the socket. Like a bad or dirty wire to wire connection that's hidden underneath a wire nut.
