have you had problems with Cooper LIghting 100 Watt Metal Halide Fixtures?

We've experienced burnout of 29 of the 79 fixtures installed Ours are indtalled on the outside of residential apartments and have been tested as far as proper voltage - we believe this is a manufacturing issue - that the size of the unit does not allow the heat generated by the 100 Watt bulb to dissapate. Looking for others who have had problems with this companies fixtures.

  1. Cooper lighting is normally a good product, I'm just wondering what you have 7,900 watts of light on, Most of the time that much light is used in parking lots, horse arenas things of that nature, are they 120v, 240v, 277v, 480v someone may have wired them to the wrong voltage, those types of lights are factory made for 3 or 4 voltage setting if wired incorrectly they are short lived lights.
