Does it look okay if you mix different types of metal finishes? For instance chrome faucet with brushed nickle light fixtures.

  1. I think as long as you aren't mixing like bronze, copper, or brass with chrome or nickel. As long as it is in the same color scheme than it will work.
  2. Sure, it's fine, just stay with the same color of metal, different finish is fine. We recently renovated 3 bathrooms, one of which has a chrome faucet and brushed nickel lighting...looks great.
  3. I think it is all in your preference. I probably wouldn't do it but I am a very matchy, matchy kind of person. I found this article that says to go for it and mix up all different kinds of metals!! Good Luck!
