Interior design and my future!?
I want to study interior design and architecture in my future. right now i am taking the IB diploma (highschool) with math, art and english A1 higher, then physics, french B and economics standard one thing i want to know is will my classes suffice to get into a good school for those things. also, if i am going to study those things, should i do a 'safty' degree first, like advertising and marketing? also, are there alot of interior design career opportunities in Toronto? thanks!

- 1. Do a search for "interior design degree programs" or "interior architecture degree programs" online. 2. After you find some colleges with these programs, get on their websites and look up that degree program and the entrance requirements for it. Here in Oregon, t the U of O, they offer both programs and I believe they are 5 year programs. You can consider a minor in advertising alongside of the interior design degrees, but I would imagine that you are required to take courses in those subjects as part of your core requirements anyways. Also, I believe at UO, not only do you have to apply to the general school itself, but also to the specific program because it is a 5 year program. So this is something to consider...make sure you know exactly what you need to do to apply. I would think taking some art classes would help you out also, design, perspective, etc.
