I checked out your Q&A to see if some of this question was missing, and found that you had asked several questions on which profession would be more advantageous (Interior Design or Pastry Cooking). Since most answerers advised Interior Design as being (probably) better, I am assuming this question is asking for reaffirmation. So yes, I agree, Interior Design would probably be a better option, since being a Pastry chef is very limiting artistically.
