What color paint should i paint my open floor plan house can i use more than one color?

I have an open floor plan i have brown carpet in the living room with green furniture the house has wood trim thru out and the kitchen has a light brown wood cabintes and the house came with dark blue window shades.

2. Sure U can use more than one color. Since you already have brown, Green, Blue and wood you may want to go with earth colors such as sand colors, beige trough light reddish brown.
3. Of course you can use more then one color. Just make sure that they are all in the same value. If you want to make a statement you could always choose one wall or even part of a wall and paint it a stand out color, that way you have a focal point and it doesn't get so overwhelming. If you want neutrals, then stay with creams and khakis. Yet, if you want some slight pop, go with a nice light-medium blue. It will accent the windows nicely and compliment the woodwork and cabinetry. Just remember, it is just paint. So if you don't like it, you can always repaint.
