My entire house has white tile flooring. No carpet. What products to use? What kind of mop? Please help!?
Need advice on how to clean white ceramic floor tile. Too large an area to mop every day, takes about an hour. I am always left with grime or greasy streaks after cleaning.I have tried Hoover Floor Mate and traditional mops to no avail. Instead of enjoying my floor, I dread it every single day. Please help. I have tried Citrus Magic , Pine-Sol ,Lysol, vinegar, Zep etc. Helpful advice greatly appreciated. Rude remarks will be flagged. Thank You!

- Have you tried Swiffer? On my tile I usually dry Swiffer, and then wet Swiffer. You will have to sweep & mop more closely every now and then, but this works for me. It is also possible that your floor has a weird finish that attracts dirt and grime; maybe you should look into having it refinished.
- Go invest in a good tile sealant, it will save tons of work down the road. It will take you hours probably to get it sealed, but it will be so well worth it. As for day to day cleaning, get a Roomba if you can, and let it vacuum as much as it will. I use a Bissell 3 in 1 vac for sweeping, does a much better job than a broom or a Swiffer dry because it actually gets in the grout. For mopping, I use Once N Done which is msde by Armstrong. Just a capful in a gallon of warm water, and I use a string mop. My floors are eggshell color, so I know how you feel about having to clean all the time, I do too. Unfortunately, with these light colored floors, we have to.
