My cork floor is scratched by my dogs. How can I get the scratches out?

  3. that is the problem with cork floors, I was told that they will not scratch by the cork floor salesmen but they do and I don't know that you can fix it, I would put an area rug over it and not get "corked" agin!!!!

  6. If it's just light scratches, re-finishing it can help camouflage. If these are deep scratches, though, like gouges, your best bet is to fill it in with a putty that closely matches the color of the cork floors. Make sure to trim your pets' nails, too. :)
