Benefits and drawbacks of cork flooring?

I love the look of cork flooring and would love to install it in my kitchen, however, I've heard mixed reports about its longevity and durability. If anyone has any experiences or advice they'd like to share, it would be much appreciated.

1. pro: DOES NOT HOLD MOLD OR MILDEW UNDERNEATH(water leaked under my basement, and half was carpet, half cork) It lasts pretty long easy cleanup con: it may chip in shipping
2. It looks great is great for environment. The biggest draw back I found was the expense. Try lumber liquidators.com they had it. So did Lowes and it was really high.
