Running wires under new cork flooring?

in my house, we're replacing our decade-old carpet with new cork flooring. however, that means that the tv cables and internet wires currently running beneath the carpet will have to be moved. what would you recommend with what to do with the wires...since i assume it would be difficult to run wires under a cork floor.

1. take off the base molding around the perimiter off room and slide the wires behind the molding and renail molding to wall. thats better than puttihg flooring over wires.
