help with flooring in Sims 2!?

On the second and third floor of my sims 2 house there are floor tiles, but then there are also open spaces in between the tiles where I can not add floor tiles. All the walls are set up. How do I get complete flooring for the second and third floor of my house?

1. Maybe because thatis thetexture and design , if you want to change them , change the designs!
2. I play a lot of Sims2, and when I find such a problem as I think you're describing, I temporarily add more walls to the lower floor, which in turn, should let you go to the next floor up, and fill in the blank spots. Once your upper floor is complete, then go to the lower level and remove the temporary walls by using the wall building tool while holding down the Ctrl key. ....... Hope this helps you!
