What do you do to blow off steam when your boss makes you angry?

Do you do anything to "get back at" your boss for being insensitive or for taking you for granted. When mine gets especially aggravating, I go take a walk at the park near the office . One of my co-workers has a small liquor cabinet hidden on the premises and she makes mini martinis for everyone. Another co-worker sneaks off to the storage room and gives herself manicures. Another takes the afternoon off, says she's going to "work at home", but she actually goes to the movies.

  2. That is none of your concern. What you do is your buisness.
  3. I LOVE THAT CO-WORKER OF URS WHO DOES MINI MARTINIS...IT MADE ME LAUGH THANKS YA TRY THAT, I SUGGEST GOING TO SPA AN GET A BUTT RUB IF CANNOT AFFORD IT U CO-WORKERS SHOULD GIVE EACHOTHER BACK N' SHOULDER RUBS
  4. I work out on the treadmill when I get home. I think you make the best choice: go for a walk. It refreshes you and blows off steam. I wouldn't drink at work if I were mad because it would just make me cranky/mouthy and then REALLY would have problems with the boss. It is sort of amusing the way you all cope with your job, but it sounds like your boss needs to go to some workshops on how to communicate & work better with staff.
  5. Well if you want to stay out of trouble you better just go to the movies. In Japan they have a room in the corner with a punching sand bag and it has a picture of the boss. It works great. It gets all the anger and frustration out. Very effective! If you want to do something like that I suggest you do it in very private way. If you get caught they will think you went nuts! I take it out on a pillow or a stump. Do not use your hands on the stump. a 2" hose by 24" would do the trick for you. Remember to keep all others out.
