Paint/Stain stripper?

I'm going to sand and stain my kitchen cabinets, but they're already installed. I am going to take th doors off and do those in the garage, but for the actual shell of the cabinets, I know there is stain stripper to use so there isn't as much sanding, and less mess. I've never used to stain stripper, can anyone recommend stuff they used or heard was great? Thank you in advance.

  1. I have stripped my cabinets. I used Ready Strip--works great. No smell, no mess. Just apply it wait for the color to change and scrap it off. It comes with the scraper and conditioner. I bought it from QVC.Com
  2. The only real way to remove stain is to sand the wood down to bare. Unlike paint, stain soaks into the wood and strippers only remove the material sitting on top of the wood. If the stainer used a heavy coat of sanding sealer before staining you may have some luck with a stripper but most likely you will need to sand. Good luck
